Income Protection is available from Dorset Financial Planning
Why do I need Income Protection?
We often think, "It won’t happen to me" , but what if you were unable to work through illness or injury? How long would your savings last? And how long will it take to build them up again after regaining work?
It is becoming extremely difficult to qualify for state benefits. If you were on an Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), you could only claim a maximum of £484.04 a month*.
What’s more, you would have to undergo a comprehensive assessment to evaluate your entitlement, during which time you could only receive £10 a day.
So it’s worth considering how you’d cope financially if the unforeseen does happen.
An income protection plan is a great solution
It ensures that whatever life throws at you, if you are unable to work due to illness or accidental injury you can still pay for life’s essentials. Please note only a percentage of your income will be covered. There is comprehensive or budget cover available to suit your needs.
